It
is good to be back home in the USA, yes we had an exciting trip back to South
Africa. Truly we saw the hand of the Lord in operation as we have not seen in
some time. We headed out to the airport early Saturday morning of October 1st
arrived in Johannesburg early Sunday Morning. It was a long flight. My brother
who went ahead to arrange everything for our up coming crusade met us at the
airport as we cleared customs. There was excitement in the air. After packing
every suitcase into the bus and additional trailer and other vehicles we headed
off to the Tent Cathedral where my Brother Owen is pastor of the Church.
Each of the brothers spoke a few words of our late dad the man of God as we
celebrated his home going twenty years ago. There were mothers who spoke of
how the Lord came through for them and what the ministry of our late dad meant
and did for them Monday: We boarded the charted bus and headed toward Randfontein
to a township where we had a three day crusade arranged. It was a windy morning
as we drove onto the field, the team of more than 65 people started to clean
the dirty field where we were going to have the crusade. Broke bottles, rocks
and all kinds of trash were collected and piled onto a single spot. It was some
time later that there was a heap of trash and a clean field ready for revival.
We headed back to the lodge where the team stayed for the duration of the crusade,
surrounded by the wild life of Africa. There was Lion, Buffalo, Giraffe and
every imaginable animal known to Africa.
First night of the crusade the crowd was not what we expected, but I want you
to know as the Pastors that joined us ministered, we saw the power of Almighty
God come down as demon powers started to manifest under the anointing, and every
night we saw hundreds upon hundreds come to know Jesus as Lord and savior. It
is estimated that more than 2,500 new converts came and surrendered their lives
to Christ. Monday evening a woman was brought to the platform, some time ago
she was mauled by a dog and left disabled, she could not walk without her aluminum
walking stick. |
