George, is the eldest of seven brothers and one sister, the
children of the late Rev. Dr. George and Mary McGregor. Born and raised in South Africa, he grew up in a Christian home where the Gospel of Jesus was first priority.

Giving his live to the Lord at the tender age of twelve, he was eager to know God and serve Him. As a teenager he began to sing and to play music for the Lord. After completing school, his desire to go on the mission field with his father was fulfilled. His father was one of the pioneers in preaching the full gospel of Jesus Christ throughout the regions of Southern Africa. George became the campaign manager, learning the different aspects in the ministry.
